Book Donation Services for Libraries

I wanted to introduce you to Book Driver’s free pickup service for libraries.

Libraries we help such as the Wilmette Public Library and the Broomfield Public Library are overwhelmed by book donations and don’t have the space or people to keep up.

You are not alone. Over 885,000 books just got thrown away today! Contact us to learn more.

Book Driver is helping solve that problem.

Book Driver is being called more and more often to help local communities create or increase the impact of used books sales, and to help solve challenges Friends of the Library (FOTL) groups face.

We help with donated textbooks, academic and scientific books, and non-fiction titles identified as hard-to-handle items with current library groups. We also offer service, support and job-creation services to those in the community who want to work with books and help libraries.

Our growing company offers book donation pickups to libraries, schools
individuals, corporations, HOA/building managers and community groups. Schedule a pickup today!

Book Driver has developed enthusiastic contacts in the communities of Denver and Chicago. As we’ve introduced ourselves and started to learn more about your challenges, we’ve seen a variety of strategies that community groups and libraries like yours use in dealing with the volume of books coming in—including where to send on the ones they can’t use.

FOTL groups struggle with how to fulfill the mission to support the library and community with respect to book donations, and we are being asked to assist in places like Pueblo, Colorado; Orlando, Florida; and Chicago.

In fact, there are some incredible bookstores being born—many times out of necessity or lack of homegrown offerings—and new thinking about operations and synergies between book people are key drivers of their success.

Book Driver is currently developing a pilot proposal to help non-profit support groups like Friends of the Library fulfill their mission. We are especially concerned with uncovering pain points in trying to drive impact through:

    ·         book sales

    ·         book drives for containers to Africa and other international destinations

    ·         literacy and reading initiatives

    ·         author events

    ·         online book selling and promotions

If you have an overflow of books or have other ideas about how Book Driver could help, we’d love to speak with you on the phone at 720-840-0291 or you can visit our website at www.bookdriver.net to schedule.
